Control of the vehicle during the practical drivingtest

You must be able to identify the following equipment:

Switch for steering wheel lock, ignition, electric starter, windshield wiper and washer, horn, permitted and required lights, heating and ventilation system, electric heating in rear window, control device for mirror adjustment, Pedal for clutch, accelerator pedal and brake pedal. Gear lever, including the position of the gears, the operating device for the parking brake and steering wheel. Seat belt attachment points and lock. Operating device for opening the bonnet and tank cover. Filler cap for engine oil, coolant, washer fluid and possibly oil for power steering.

You must be able to check the following:

-There must not normally be a steering wheel play. This is checked by the wheels immediately following the movement of the steering wheel. In cars with power steering, the check is carried out with the engine running.

-The liquid level in any power steering reservoir must follow the car manufacturer's regulations. This is checked either by the liquid level being between min - and max- mark, or by the fact that the control lamp therefore is not lit.

- The brake pedal must not be able to sink lower than approximately halfway down, when the pedal is pressed hard. The brake pedal must not normally sink while it is held depressed with constant pressure.

-For brakes with a vacuum boosted servo break: the brake pedal must be kept pressed down after equalizing the pressure (pump until the brake pedal cannot move any more). The engine is then started and the brake pedal will sink a short distance.

-The fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir must be between min. - and max. -mark or know that the indicator light is not on.

-The bulb's correct installation can be checked by illuminating a wall and judging the light/dark boundary of the light. The low beam headlights have asymmetric light. This means that on the right side of the light cone there will be an upward angle in the light of both lights.

-All lights and reflectors must be intact and clean, and all lights must be able to light.

-The low beamheadlights must not be blinding (judged by the fact that the upper edge of the light limit falls 1 cm per m).

-The stop lights must provide significantly stronger light than the rear lights. Ask someone to step on the brake pedal while you check the light.

-The turn signals must flash with a yellow light that can be clearly seen in sunlight.

-The hazard warning flasher must be able to switch on all flashing lights at the same time.

-Number plate lights must have white light that can illuminate the rear number plate.

-Lights in a pair of lights must have the same color and brightness.

-The horn must have a clear, constant tone.

- The engine must not generate unnecessary smoke and noise.

- The exhaust system must be tight and secure.

- Engine oil must be in the sufficient quantity. Read on the dipstick's min. - and max. -marks, Or read on the car's instruments or according to the instruction manual.

- Coolant must be filled in a sufficient quantity judged according to the instruction manual.

-Tires must have at least 1.6 mm depth in the main pattern on all wheels, possibly assessed by wear indicators.

- Tires and rims must be undamaged.

-Shock absorbers must be effective at all wheels, judged by the fact that the car immediately comes to rest after a strong impact on the shock absorbers.

-Washer fluid must be filled in sufficient quantity.

-The wipers must be able to keep the windshield clean.

                                             Terms and conditions

As a driving school we need to follow the order of the teaching. Therefore, there is basically an obligation to attend the lessons, as the driving education cannot otherwise be carried out as planned. We expect the students to show up for theory and driving lessons on time (if you are a little late, you let your instructor know). Together we make a plan for the student. If the student is under 18 years of age, parents accept that the student can manage their own calendar and book driving times, and that communication takes place between the student and the driving instructor. If you are unable to attend a driving lesson, you must cancel at the latest at the day before at 12.00, Otherwise the full price of the driving lessons must be paid. In the event of illness, cancellation is made on the same day before 07.00. Theory, maneuver track and technical installation course are paid for before start-up. Driving is paid via bank transfer as an immediate transfer or cash in the car after the driving lesson. You can make another agreement with your driving instructor regarding payment. Driving lessons before and for the driving test, and other amounts due, are paid before the driving test is taken. If there is an amount owed, the driving test will be canceled without compensation for a new test fee. Technical instalation course must be canceled no later than 8 working days before 12.00 (noon) to avoid payment of a new course. The theory and driving test must be canceled no later than 7 working days at 12.00 (noon) before, to avoid a new test fee. I would advise against cancellations, as the driving course can be extended and become inappropriate (longer and more expensive) for the student's course.

During practice driving on road, the driving instructor is considered the driver of the car and can be punished for the student's condition/influence. Alcohol, narcotics, pronounced tiredness and medicin dangerous to trafic must NEVER be mixed with driving, so we reserve the right to test for narcotics and alcohol without prior notice. If a test is positive, the full amount is paid for the scheduled driving lesson without it being held. The law's minimum requirements for teaching to complete the driving course are: 29 theory lessons, 4 lessons on maneuvering track, 4 lessons on driving technical insatlation, 16 lessons driving on the road. 1 lesson = 45 minutes. You do not GET a driver's license, you take a driving course and must pass a theory and practical test. It is therefore not a guarantee that you will be ready for a driving test after 16 lessons. We do our best to get the student through in as few lessons as possible, but it is TOTALLY normal to have extra lessons to get ready for a driving test. It is a big responsibility to get into traffic on your own, and there are very high requirements for the driving test. It is the driving instructor who must register the student for the driving test, and we only do this when we believe that the student is both ready to pass the driving test, but can also drive safely in traffic on their own.

In the event of damage to the track, equipment or cars on the maneuvering track or driving technical instalation, the student (student under 18 years = parents/guardian) is liable for the deductible for these. During the practical test, the student is the legal driver of the vehicle, which means that the student is liable for any damages. In the event of damage during the driving test, the student (student under 18 = parents/guardian) is liable for the deductible for damage. If we see difficulties for the student, we can make various recommendations and exercises that the student can use outside the car between driving lessons. It's not because we don't want to drive with the student, but so that the student gets the most out of the lessons you pay for with us. The student gets a copy of the lesson plan, so you can follow the legally required driving yourself.  Gift Cards expires after 6 months and can not be exchanged for cash.
